"Yeah, this might become a game..."
I like the style and the graphics, you should make more violent swings though, and more of them, to make it interesting for the player.
Power ups and super moves could be cool (hint, hint ;) )
I'll give it a 7/10 but only because it's a WIP and has potential.
Keep it up.

Awesome, awesome defend the castle kind of game.
The graphics was so sweet, and the way the zombies fall is superb.
Too bad it was so easy, and that there were no more ways to spend the day time.
You could have added food and water management to make it more hard to have a lot of people in the bunker.
Anyhow, you get a 5/5 vote from me and 9/10 review.
Keep up the excellent work.

Nice and cute, it'll be a nice card for the V-day...
But this isn't a game nor an interactive movie, so it should go into the animations category.
Cheers

Very well done. Simple, interesting, yet has that lil' something that distincts it from the mass of other submissions...
I'd recommend few thing:
- increase number of colours/bulletTypes as the game progresses
- add bonus items, as the slow-mo (bullet time), undo or something like that
- different types of targets, like some moving targets on the horizon...
Regardless it's a good game. Well done.
Cheers.

Simplicity is the best.
There's not much to it, but it makes you play it all the way to the 100 rockets at least once.
This is good material for a bigger game, with different, or moving (!HINT) trigger positions or combo/link interactivity.
The graphics was good, not great, but stylishly packed in one complete package, and in overall it looked great.
Too small, but nice work.

Hmmm, a "new style of animation"? Maybe for you...
Don't get me wrong but you invented "hot water"...
I expected a more meaningful story, not just random objects made out of words...
Some colours blend with the bg and were hard to read, and some objects ( a man for an example ) moved too fast to "read all of the parts".
This could be done in actionScript, it would probably take 5 days to make the engine, but after that, it would be much easier to make ASCII animations with it.
Anyhow, put some more work into the story, and this will be a decent movie.
Cheers
Author's Response:
You don't have to "read all of the parts," you just need to see the object they make up. Yes, it is a new style of animation. And no, I didn't invent hot water, I invented dry water.

The idea isn't new, and I've seen several wave simulators, but none was so fluid as this one.
I've never tried to code something like this myself, but I think you did a good job on the optimization, it runs pretty smooth.
Well done.
Author's Response:
Thanks alot! You acually understand how hard it is to make this stuff. :)

This was the first thing I didn't blam today.
It looks really nice, the graphic is good and the animation (though scarce) is smooth.
I got the feeling it is rather easy to win some cash (or I was very lucky the two times I played it ;) ), which is maybe a bad thing, cuz there's no real challenge.
Placing bigger bets could be a nuisance, because you need to keep clicking a lot to place a, say, 100$ bet. You could add a button to increase a bet by 10, 15, or simply make it remember the last bet.
In the most of the videoPokers I played, when you call for cards, you choose the ones you wish to keep, and not the ones you wish to discard, but that's only a minor flaw, and I guess you could get used to the other way around...
Oh, more sound is always a plus.
Keep it up
Author's Response:
Flipping cards to discard just seemed better to me I know that usually you click to keep but I liked it this way. Bigger bets has been addressed but I think maybe my payouts are still too high.

Lol this is an excellent idea, but it needs a little more work on it.
The ability to bash bricks is a must in a Mario game, and exclamation marks with powerUps...
The weapons, are great, but it would be great to give them to player one by one (when hitting a exclamation mark maybe), also a little more diversity in weapons could be nice (the giantWrench is cool :) ), you could add a plantMine opt, or throwGrenade, or a good old chainSaw ;)
Crouch could be nice, and the ability to shoot down would be sweet... and the destructible terrain would be AWESOME! =D
Anyhow, if you should work on it some more, it will be a 10, now it is a good firm 8.
Cheers

Heh, this was pretty good, to say at least.
The scenes and the progression of the story are very well executed and thought of. You've introduced every element into the story, and managed to keep it simple and interesting.
The animation could be slightly better, and some scenes could be a little shorter imo.
Anyway, good work. Keep it up.
