Solid coding
The idea isn't new, and I've seen several wave simulators, but none was so fluid as this one.
I've never tried to code something like this myself, but I think you did a good job on the optimization, it runs pretty smooth.
Well done.

Thanks alot! You acually understand how hard it is to make this stuff. :)

Nice but needs more work
This was the first thing I didn't blam today.
It looks really nice, the graphic is good and the animation (though scarce) is smooth.
I got the feeling it is rather easy to win some cash (or I was very lucky the two times I played it ;) ), which is maybe a bad thing, cuz there's no real challenge.
Placing bigger bets could be a nuisance, because you need to keep clicking a lot to place a, say, 100$ bet. You could add a button to increase a bet by 10, 15, or simply make it remember the last bet.
In the most of the videoPokers I played, when you call for cards, you choose the ones you wish to keep, and not the ones you wish to discard, but that's only a minor flaw, and I guess you could get used to the other way around...
Oh, more sound is always a plus.
Keep it up
Flipping cards to discard just seemed better to me I know that usually you click to keep but I liked it this way. Bigger bets has been addressed but I think maybe my payouts are still too high.
